Yoanis Callejas
Finance & Accounting Administrator-SES
Yoanis Callejas began her career in Public Health in 2006 with the Florida Department of Health in Lee County. She started as a Secretary Specialist for the Community Health Program. Throughout the years, she has been gradually promoted to more challenging positions including: oversight of the PEPW/ Medicaid program, Accountant, Government Operations Consultant, and Accounting Services Supervisor. Her background, acquired knowledge and leadership skills with these past position have earned her a promotion to her current role of Finance and Accounting Administrator.
Originally from Cuba, Yoanis is a graduate of Law School in her home country. In 2014, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Supervision and Management from Florida Southwestern State College. Yoanis has received her certification as a Public Health Financial Manager and as Florida Certified Contract Manager through the Florida Department of Health.
The Florida Department of Health has brought Yoanis great joy and professional growth. She looks forward to continuing her public service to the residents of Lee County.
