To best achieve its mission and vision, the Florida Department of Health in Lee County (DOH-Lee) is organized into a number of program areas that focus on the surveillance, prevention, detection, and treatment of the most significant health and environmental issues within the county.
DOH-Lee is the collective effort of over 280 dedicated employees working to ensure the health and safety of the more than 770,000 residents and over 3.3 million annual visitors to one of Florida’s most beautiful counties.
