Clinical and Nutrition Services

The Florida Department of Health in Lee County offers core public health clinical and nutrition services, including Family Planning/STD, Tuberculosis, and Immunizations. Additional services available to the community also include School Health, Refugee Health, the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings, Insulin and Epilepsy Prescription Assistance, Nurse Family Partnership, and WIC. We have a dedicated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, health educators, disease intervention specialists, social workers, family support workers, health support technicians, and other health personnel who provide high quality care to our patients.

We accept Medicaid and some private/commercial insurance plans. Some services are also available on a sliding fee scale for self paying clients. Please bring a photo ID, proof of residence (a current utility or telephone bill in your name), any insurance cards, and income verification (pay stubs). Immunizations are free for children under the Vaccine for Children program.
