Florida Department of Health in Lee – Offering Free Private Well Testing

Fort Myers, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Lee County will be offering free bacteriological testing for private wells through Thursday, September 28 in response to Hurricane Irma.

Free bacteriological tests are limited to one well sample per household.  Additional samples are $20.00 each.

You may take your samples to:

Dates and Hours for dropping off water samples are:Dates and Hours for dropping off water samples are:
Friday, September 22 from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Monday, September 25 through Thursday, September 28 from 8:00am – 3:00pm.
