Minority Health

FDOH-Lee and community partners developed a Minority Health Plan to improve the quality of life of residents in Lee County. It is a county wide multi-sector effort that includes sharing information and resources, coordinating existing programs, and establishing collaboration to address the social and economic factors that impact health and well-being in the county.

Minority Health Task Force

 

The Task Force meetings consist of local partners working in collaboration to:

 

  • Identify health disparities.
  • Plan and execute projects that address community needs.

Minority Health Liaison

 

The Minority Health Liaison is an employee of FDOH-Lee and supports the Office of Minority Health in advancing health efforts and improving health outcomes of all the residents in Lee County through partnership engagement, health planning, and implementation of health projects.
