The Florida Department of Health in Lee County HIV/AIDS program works to:
- Reduce new HIV infections in Lee County
- Increase access to care
- Improve health outcomes for people living with HIV
- Reduce health disparities and inequities in HIV prevention and care
The HIV/AIDS program works towards those goals by administering the core activities listed in the menu on the left side of this page.
Do you know your HIV status?
We offer counseling and testing services in person at:

You can also order a free at-home HIV Self-Test Kit to have it shipped directly to you.
Do you want to prevent HIV?
We offer pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication to individuals at risk of exposure to HIV.
Are you living with HIV and need help?
Our patient care programs are here for you:
- Test and Treat program can link you to care.
- AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is a prescription medication program for low-income people living with HIV.
- There is medical care offered through Ryan White Part B.
