The Florida Department of Health in Lee County HIV/AIDS program works to:

  • Reduce new HIV infections in Lee County
  • Increase access to care
  • Improve health outcomes for people living with HIV
  • Reduce health disparities and inequities in HIV prevention and care

 The HIV/AIDS program works towards those goals by administering the core activities listed in the menu on the left side of this page.

 You can also order a free at-home HIV Self-Test Kit to have it shipped directly to you.

 Do you want to prevent HIV? 

 We offer pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication to individuals at risk of exposure to HIV.

 Are you living with HIV and need help?

 Our patient care programs are here for you:

  • Test and Treat program can link you to care.
  • AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is a prescription medication program for low-income people living with HIV. 
  • There is medical care offered through Ryan White Part B.
