Florida CHARTS
Florida’s Community Health Assessment Resource Tool (CHARTS) is a one-stop website for public health statistics and community health data in Florida.
The Community Health Planning and Statistics team collects and studies health information to learn about the health of Florida residents and understand which services they need.
School Health Information
The Lee County School District and the Florida Department of Health in Lee County work together to provide health services in schools. They review student health records, make sure children get any required immunizations and physical examinations before starting school, and provide screenings for vision, hearing, scoliosis, and growth and development. They also provide first aid, medication assistance, and emergency health services.
The school health program ensures that private and charter schools meet state-mandated requirements for immunizations, physical examinations, and screenings.

How to File a Complaint
If your complaint is about treatment, conduct, accident reporting, behavior, staff ratios, or any food or environmental issue, contact your local Florida Department of Children and Families office or local licensing agency. Please have the details surrounding the complaint, date(s) of the incident or observation, location/room within the facility it occurred or was observed, address of the center, and any other pertinent information related to the issue.
If you have a complaint about a religiously exempt childcare center, not licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families or by a local licensing agency, you will have to contact the religious exempting agency for that specific center to file a complaint.
