DOH-Lee Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory

Lee County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Lee County (DOH-Lee) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels at the following location:

Bowditch Park

50 Estero Blvd.

Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931

 

Tests completed on September 22, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Bowditch Park

shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
