Debbie Kimberlin has worked for the Florida Department of Health for over 30 years. She started her career with the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County in 1990 as a cashier. She was promoted to positions that included: Eligibility Clerk, Clerical Supervisor, Deputy Registrar with Vitals Statistics, Contract Administrator, and a Management Analyst. In 2005, she accepted an Administrative Assistant position with the Environmental Engineering Division of the Florida Department of Health in Lee County before being promoted in 2009 to her current role as the Executive Assistant to the Health Officer.

Debbie participated with the design and implementation of the Clinic Management System, HMS. She was a graduate of the nineth class of the Florida Public Health Leadership Institute of Florida.
