Gwenn Zimmerman has spent her career serving others. Gwenn began her public service career in Washington state where she provided 20 years of human resource support to several state agencies including Department of Transportation, Veterans Affairs, and Employment Security. 

In 2019, Gwenn came to work for the Florida Department of Health in Lee County in the Environmental Health Department. Gwenn received a promotion in 2021 to her current role, where she serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Administration at the Florida Department of Health in Lee County. Gwenn has been a Florida resident since 2011 and became a licensed Florida Real Estate Agent in 2023.
