STI Testing Moves Back To Clinics Today

Fort Myers, Fla. – Testing for sexually transmitted infections moves back inside clinics at the Florida Department of Health in Lee County beginning Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. The public interested in knowing their status will be able to receive services in the North Fort Myers and Fort Myers clinics on alternating months.

“DOH-Lee is happy to continue to offer the outreach services inside our clinics,” said Neryda Greene, health educator. “The mobile testing unit has returned to Sarasota County.”

All testing is held on Mondays from noon to 4 p.m. Locations and months include:

  • 83 Pondella Road, North Fort Myers—January 11, March 14, May 9
  • 3920 Michigan Avenue, Fort Myers—February 8, April 11, June 13

Each clinic is limited to the first 15 people who arrive for testing. For information about the department go to http://lee.floridahealth.gov/
